Blocking my way
I was riding my bicycle in the narrow lanes of Solo with the camera attached to the handlebars (testing the video performance of the M240) when these young boys returning from school blocked my path.Once their picture taken, they continued their way while shouting to me: «Bye Bye Mister»

Statue or for real ?
At first when I sat on the public bench next to this one, I wondered if the «bending over person» was a sculpture or was for real; till I heard him cough.
Observation: This image was taken with the 50mm Summilux pre-Aspheric. This lens has a «personality» that I know fits well with film (especially B&W). Leica M240. 50mm Summilux. Pré-Asph.

Broom seller on a hot day
In the village of Manvar, India

Forever friends
Unattended open fire
(from the series: Indonesian moments)
I was riding my bike going on an errand when I came across this scene.
What made me curious and stop was the burning unattended open fire near the sidewalk. It was of course a roadside repair shop. The pierced inner tube of the bechak wheel needed fixing. I am always amazed of the sharpness and the image detail that the Summicron 28mm lens produces. Leica M240 28mm Summicron-M 1:2/2.8 ASPH |
